first the translation for two words:
Podesta di Montefiorino = Mayor of M.
Pieve = Church
Montefiorino is a town in Italy in the province Modena between Genua and Bologna. 20 km away is the town Sassuolo (triangular postmark). In Montefiorino is a fortress, I think, the picture in the seal shows the hill or the mountain, where the fortress is. I cannot read the word between Montefiorino and Podesta in the seal (20C ?).

Pievepelago is another Italian town in the province Modena. Montefiorino lies between Sassuolo and Pievepelago. P. is the receiver town.

I think kartenhai has said it all. I just don't believe there is a word between Montefiorino and Podestà. It seems to be a small decorative sign meant to separate the beginning and the end of the circular text. Nowadays the coat of arms of Montefiorino is still a design of hills (monti) with flowers (fiori) on top, but in a nicer drawing.
If something is not as one would like it to be, one changes it according to one’s wishes or one presents it in the way one wishes it to be. In other words, one gives it the right spin.

That seems to be the logical answer, yes. “t. Arancio” only means there is an orange postmark from Sassuolo on the letter.
